Task 6 - Final Major Project Production
This video shows gameplay from my game. In this short video I showed off my main menu screen, my controls screen and how easy it is to navigate through the different menus in my game. I also showed how the gun works in this game, where the player collides with the gun, it then moves to his hands and stays there. I showed the player picking up the ammo pack, but my ammo was full at the time so it did no show the ammo going up. However, it did show that the ammo pack does not exceed the ammo limit when picked up, which I am happy with. Moreover, I showed how if the player falls off the map into the water area, the player then dies and respawns from the start. In addition to this, I had also showed off my save & load feature, in which I saved the game at a point in the game, and when my player died, I pressed the key on my keyboard to load the save game and then reverted back to where I saved, so I did not have to start from the beginning. Also, near the end of the video I started attacking the boss, and I showed off his ranged attack in which he spits acid, and kills the player instantly if it touched him, in this case the acid did not hit my player so he did not die. The boss also looked very difficult in this video as at one point, his acid can fire at a bigger height than the previous which can make it unpredictable and harder. Finally, when the boss was defeated he final screen of the game appeared, which basically said that you had beaten the game and that was it.
